What is
Another weekend project of mine, my first HTML5 app. Aruku is a simple HTML5 Web app to make a request to alc.co.jp to translate Japanese from and to English. I really like alc cause the result of their translation is more useful than other services I’ve tried like Google Translate. The source is in my Github.
Demo
Open Safari in your iPhone/iPod, go to http://nicosakura.no-ip.info:8888/Aruku/

Have you ever experienced those moments when you just felt not in the mood for color? I just did. So I turned my Mac desktop color to grayscale. Everything will be black and white, and gray, I guess. Simply open the System Preferences -> Universal Access -> Check the "Use Grayscale" option.
Just got myself an iPhone 4S after lining up in front of Apple Store Shinsaibashi Osaka for a tiring 15 hours!
But the iPhone is really worth the waiting! What I really like from iPhone 4S so far is Siri and the iTunes wifi sync.
I bet you have read about Siri's hilarious responses from the net. I can tell you that it's really good and funny!
There's something that you can only do via Siri, or at least I haven't found the way to do it manually by finger. It's the ability to add connections to your own contact info. For example, you can add another contact as your spouse. It's very easy. Just tell Siri to call, for example your wife. If you haven't set it up, Siri will ask you her name as you can see from the screenshots. Pretty cool!
BONUS: Do you know that you can tell Siri to call you by another name? Or by anything you want her to call you :D
There used to be time in my life where I felt lost, didn't know where to go and what to do in my life. That was the time before I knew about Steve Jobs.
What he said in Stanford Commencement Speech 2005 gave me guidance and inspiration.
The first iPhone I bought, the 3GS, inspired me. I had never seen something so amazing in my life.
Steve Jobs have showed me that I can do great things if I love what I do.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Steve!
To Steve's family, thank you, and be strong, and be proud. My prayer is with you.
